The DC Home Purchase Assistance Program (HPAP) is available for individuals and families to purchase a primary residence located within the District of Columbia. The level of financing assistance is based on household size, household income, need, and the availability of funds.
DC Opens Doors
DC Opens Doors, offers a Down Payment Assistance Loan (DPA) to qualified first-time and repeat homebuyers who are eligible for the program. They have participating lenders who handle the mortgage loan process.
Maryland Mortgage Programs
Maryland has programs that help make purchasing and owning a home more affordable. The State has a list of state-approved mortgage lenders who can help determine which loan option fits best.
